If you worked as an employee of Nijjar Realty, Inc.’s (“Nijjar Realty”) as a Maintenance Worker between January 30, 2004 and October 6, 2009, your rights may be affected by the case Bautista v. Nijjar Realty, Inc., et al. Case No. BC 384602.

This lawsuit arises from allegations and claims that Nijjar Realty, Inc. engaged in the following unlawful behavior: (1) failure to pay overtime; (2) failure to provide meal and rest breaks; (3) failure to pay waiting time penalties; (4) failure to reimburse for work-related expenses; (5) inaccurate wage statements; and, (6) failure to pay accrued vacation upon separation of employment.

Please be advised that Nijjar Realty, Inc., its employees, agents and attorneys have been ordered NOT to communicate with class members regarding the lawsuit or the claims and opt-out process. In addition, Nijjar Realty, Inc may not retaliate against any individual for filing a claim to participate in the lawsuit. Your decision as to whether or not to participate in or opt out of this lawsuit will remain confidential and will not be shared with Nijjar Realty, Inc.
